About Me

Biography

Hello!
I am a Senior BFA Photography student at Point Park University. I'm also minoring in photojournalism and multimedia.
Anything that has involved a camera has always caught my attention whether it's video production, photography, art, or broadcasting. My passion for media has grown ever since I got my first camera in 2013.

I have extensive training in commercial and editorial photography, editing software, printing, videography, editing, directing, producing, and design.

Experiences such as being a producer for U-View Television, Event Coordinator and Program Director for WPPJ, and freelance photographer for Bridges Theater Co., The Globe, and The Dwellington have prepared me to work under a deadline and to produce high-quality work in a fast-paced environment.

Additionally, precision and attention to detail are two priorities of mine that I developed through my experience as a curator/artist such as the A Space For Trust show.

Very excited to learn, connect, and grow from new experiences!

My Work

Originally from San Jose, California, Danny travels from coast to coast, photographing the extraordinary and mundane scenes of life. My work aims to capture the range of beauty and complexion in today's world, through unique compositions and vibrant color.

Whether it's on the street or in the studio, all of my photos establish a dynamic relationship with striking and pungent colors or a lack of. At first studio portraits was my least favorite type of photography, however, it's now become my strongest and favorite part of my portfolio. The studio is where I create my most prominent work. I tend to photograph for documentary or fine art purposes.

My professional and artistic practices also transcend to videography, editing, and media art. Like my photography, color is a priority and an element I experiment with constantly. My films tend to have a unique composition with a play on color.
